The
Fieseler Flugzeugbau was founded in after World War I by German
fighter ace Gerhard Fieseler. Fieseler began making trainers and fighters
under license for the Luftwaffe in 1935.
The company's name was changed to Gerhard Fieseler
Werke in 1939 and continued producing aircraft through World War II.
Fieseler's best known aircraft are the Fi 156 Storch and
Fi 103 flying-bomb--better known as the V-1 Buzz Bomb.
