DISPLAY PILOT / SOLO DISPLAY PILOT


Was an instructor at the Empire Test Pilot School at Boscombe Down.  He flew two tours on the Tornado F3, including combat operations during Operation Desert Shield in the Gulf.  He qualified as a weapons instructor and was sent by the RAF on a NATO exchange, training on the Tactical Leadership Programme in Belgium, before becoming a test pilot in 1997. 

 

Dan flew as the Eurofighter Test Pilot, and was involved in the supersonic clearance programme for Eurofighter Typhoon and air2air refuelling with the Tri-Star and VC10.  He is also a top aerobatic competition pilot and is hoping to compete internationally in the future.  He is currently a test pilot with FRA at Bournemouth.
