John Taylor "JT"

DISPLAY PILOT / SOLO DISPLAY PILOT

John Taylor is one of the best-known names in British aviation, and turned professional as a display pilot in 1977. Following a three year solo display tour with a Pitts Special throughout Europe, Scandinavia and the Mediterranean he joined the Marlboro Aerobatic Team in its first year as a three-ship formation. He later founded the unique Skyhawks Aerobatic Team, dancing a pair of motor-gliders to the music of Pink Floyd.

John joined Firebird Aerobatics in 1997, and flew the Extra 300 with Brian Lecomber for a year on the Rover Aerobatic Team and then for 5 years with the Microlease team. He joined the Ultimate High Display Team in 2004, and we are delighted to be associated with a pilot of his immense standing in the display world.
